Ok,  you have talked me into it.  OSHKOSH Model TR.

Swishy has it, and everyone behind him too. This big 4x4 is an Oshkosh TR from about 1935. Coleman Bros used a fleet of these of these to widen the Cape Cod Canal in the mid '30's, as depicted in the brochure below. Thanks to Edgar Browning for the brochure and also the photoshopping on the WAI photo. Did any one notice the cylinder on the left front of the frame...
Air power steering?
By Jeff Lakaszcyck - Sunday, April 24, 2011 4:34 PM
Peter, in the specs it describes the steering gear as "Ross, special, air powered".

Was this a belly dump or side swing gate?  there's reference to the cable on the dump door but I don't see a winch.  Electric brakes on the trailer axle.
