Yep, looks like an early Ovlov - but surely no import into the US started until the late 1950s?

Yup it's a Volvo, and if Dan says it is a 1929 series 2 I'll go with that. It is true that this model was never sold in the US, and that Volvo trucks were not imported here until the 1950's. But since Volvo today has a large share of the US truck market I figure they are fair game for the WAI (as long as we don't use too many !) Besides, the 2nd photo below is a WAI feature from a few years ago and was sent by Eddy, and we all know that Eddy would never post anything inappropriate ! This is a 1929 series 2.
