If you try anything long enough you will succeed eventually. Daryl Gushee is absolutely correct. This is a 1934 GMC T-5 halftrack. I thought this early halftrack would be a challenge, but several of you recognised it's GMC sheetmetal, taken from the commercial truck line. This photo from the Life Magazine Collection was taken during army maneuvers in 1940. The 3rd image is from Bart Vanderveen's "Historic Military Vehicle Directory".
