Not sure about the entire truck, but the windscreen, grille and bumper look like they came from a Gillig school bus circa 1965

Not many takers on this one again, although plenty of folks looked at it. Bill White is right on the money, this is a Bowles Load-N-Pack refuse body mounted on a Reo chassis, built in 1958. This truck was very advanced for its time, and foreshadowed the design of curb-side urban refuse trucks for years to come. Mike W sent this photo from the Classic Refuse Truck site.
