As a matter of fact I think that is Eddy ! If he leaves now he can probably make the 60 miles to West Springfield by the end of May ! Well, maybe that isn't Eddy, but the truck is most certainly a Commercial Truck electric, a 1926 2 ton model B-4 owned by John Sexton & Company. CT was founded in Philadelphia in 1907, and the majority of their trucks were battery-electric. A few gasoline-electric models were built around 1916. Models ranged in size from 1/4 to 6 tons. In 1928 CT was acquired by Walker Electric. Walker continued to build electric trucks until 1941. Bill White had this 1st and provided the info below about John Sexton & Company. Thanks to Don Mackenzie for the CT and the Sexton 1931 Diamond T model 801.

In 1924, John Sexton decided to modernize the company's city delivery fleet by purchasing 26 electric trucks
from the Commercial Truck Company of Philadelphia, PA. and purchasing 6 gasoline 1.5 ton 6-wheeled trucks manufactured by Diamond T of Chicago.
The modernization retired 50 horses and 35 grocery wagons. Each CT Electric Truck averaged 12 miles (19 km) per delivery day, were extremely
reliable, easy to drive and well adapted for city deliveries However, in cold weather, batteries were less efficient and the hard rubber tires
had poor traction on snow covered streets. The result was a diminished range for the electric trucks.
The CT Electrics were in service until the late 1930s and were gradually phased out as the Chicago area expand into the suburbs,
the delivery distances increased, the roads got better and commercial trucks improved.
The 6 Diamond T Trucks were used for suburban Chicago deliveries and averaged 180 miles (290 km) each per delivery day in 1924.
