Here's an early motor coach from Boston. Emblems removed. Photo from Don MacKenzie.

"Agree with Bill" is always a good plan, although I have it on good authority he has been known to post the wrong answer on purpose !  Not this time, however, this cool old bus is a 1931 or so ACF Metropolitan, owned by the Boston Elevated Railway. ACF built buses starting in 1926 and purchased the Hall Scott Engine Company around the same time. Most ACF busses and the few trucks they built (from 1930-32) used Hall Scott engines almost exclusively through the early '50's. After WW2 the busses were known as ACF-Brill, and their last bus was built in 1953. Hall Scott was sold off about 1955. Thanks to Don MacKenzie for the photo, and Bill White for the brochure pages.
