Everyone had at least part of this puzzle right, with Stretch leading the way. This is a very nicely restored Luverne wrecker, owned by ATHS member John Lamke. I took these photos at the Huntsville show. This wrecker is equipped with a Manley Wrecking Crane that is probably a few years newer than the rest of the truck. Luverne trucks were built in Luverne Minnesota from 1912 to 1923. By 1920 the company had evolved into the Luverne Fire Apparatus Company. After 1923 the company built fire apparatus on other manufacturers chassis. As far as I can tell Luverne is still in business today building fire equipment. The fire truck heritage may explain why this Luverne has a dual ignition 6 cylinder, perhaps it is a former fire truck.
