I'm going to go with International as well. Looks like some Scout derivative to me.

1953/54 FAGEOL - Pony Express Twin Coach.

This pic was published in the "Special interest autos" magazine dated April 1980 page 56 - Sorting through the history of the postal truck.

I would guess this is one of the rarest postal trucks ever built. This is a 1954 or so Fageol Pony Express Midget, one of the last vehicles built by Twin Coach before they were bought out by Flxible. Highway Products ended up with the Kent, Ohio factory. The Pony Express had a 162 ci 4 cylinder engine, automatic transmission, left hand or right hand drive, and a "hold stop brake" feature.  Thanks to Bill White for the photo. Daryl Gushee had this first, which can only mean one thing: Daryl must have a Pony Express Midget hidden away in Maine somewhere !

I have to agree about the windshield, the big 1950's Fageol/Twin Coach van trucks used IH chassis and drivetrains, so it would not be surprising for a Comfo-Cab windshield to find its way onto the Midget.
