Really appreciate the behind-the-scenes work that goes into these National ATHS shows.

At least one of your nice spruce blocks will be headed back to Northern California with our Jim Dobbas 1950 International Logger. Our "recruited" driver/hauler Bruce Thomas of the Reno, Nv Chapter was in Nebraska, last word, on his way to the Springfield.

True measure of an ATHS friend ... he and his wife drive the 2800 miles, so we can fly this trip. :o}

UPDATE:

The last batch of blocks will be sent to the engraver on Monday bringing us to a total of 1182 blocks.

I know some of you are holding back on registering for the show

(afraid that there won't be enough blocks to go around)

Have no fear. There is a block with your name on it. Well not really your name but there is a block for you.

See you all in Springfield!

Expecting a pretty good turnout this weekend. Hope to see you there.

Thanks to Perry Transport of Poland, Maine for allowing the use of their Patriot trailer to haul the blocks to Springfield.

A quiet weekend. 5 members and no earplugs required. A little sanding and repacking blocks. I stuck around to learn how to change an airbag on the KW.

Mission accomplished but laying under the truck found other issues. At least I was inside where it was warm. Thanks Adam

Next weekend we are expecting a large turnout of people and are hoping for a large turnout of blocks.

Quite a day!  After a brief huddle we were off to the races.  When the (saw)dust settled almost 240 blocks were cut.  Didn't even break out the donuts until we were done.  The best part was the look of shock on John's face when the pace of production began to become evident.  Best project I've been involved in for a long time!  Click on the link in the post below to see more of today's action.
