I didn't know I had to use 'tags' please let me know about Mike Parkhurst, I worked for him for 9 years 1964 to 1973 and I've wondered about him for years, please let me know if he's alive and if he would get in touch with me through this site! He was the best boss ever and I loved working for him and his staff, we had such a great time back then and I have such fond memories of that time. I was the one who typed Overdrive Magazine, my name is Vonda

I spoke with Mike today. Met him in Louisville when he was at MATS selling a new movie he put together called Trucker Wars, it's a great documentary about the strikes that he and ITA was involved with. It has lots of original news footage at truckstops and interviews.

Hello, I am a former employee at OVERDRIVE Magazine. 1970 - 78 Mike Parkhurst is alive & very private His comments can be found online from time to time. Sorry, I do not have an email for him Send a Pvt message and maybe we can figure out a way... In my opinion Michael has been robbed of an accurate historical representation. His Heart, true and his concern for the treatment of Truckers - first. **Please share on Michael Parkurst appreciation page on Facebook I have nothing but pleasant memories from my time with the Overdrive crew.

Hello, I am a new member here. I have been looking for information in regards to the Parkhurst family. Specifically William Parkhurst, and Michael....I am asking because somewhere around spring 1991 I did a construction clean up at Van Nuys Airport, CA. I believe it was a warehouse for Overdrive Mag at onetime. Well I was more interested in the memorabilia than clearing the trash. I took boxes of letters, photos, cards, ect......I became obsessed with their family history. With what I could piece together they were of course wealthy, education and social people... Now years later I am going through boxes. I have some left over items. And was wondering if anyone had a contact for them. Maybe the family would like to have these items or maybe not. But if I could be pointed in the right direction I sure would appreciate it.I will check back.

Ken Goudy is an ATHS member for those of you that do not know him. He could probably put anyone interested in contact with Mike Parkhurst.
